Administration of ALQ Evaluations is both simple and consistent across all Total Force Enlisted and Officer Airmen. All Airmen are evaluated, according to their rank and responsibilities, through the lens of MPAs.

2021年2月2日 · Each Airman leadership quality is assessed on a five-point scale of proficiency levels: does not meet expectations, developing, proficient, highly proficient and outstanding. They are currently grade independent, understanding raters will account for the relative expectation based on rank and Air Force specialty code.

POLICY. • For SNCOs (E-7 - E-9) and officers (O-1 - O-6), raters have the option of incorporating the ALQs using the ACA-A as an optional guiding document to supplement performance feedback. • This ACA-A highlights four Major Performance Areas (MPAs), each with certain Airman Leadership Qualities (ALQs) for Airmen to focus on developing.

During the feedback portion of the evaluation input, the Rater will select a proficiency level for each Airman Leadership Quality (ALQ) and an overall proficiency level for each Major Performance Area (MPA). There are 10 Airman Leadership Qualities that fall into the four Major Performance Areas (MPA).

The Air Force announced 10 Airman leadership qualities which are now being integrated into a new feedback tool, for officers in the grades of O-1 through O-6 and senior noncommissioned officers in the grades of E-7 through E-9, to facilitate discussion between rater and ratee.
