2009年1月7日 · Lord knows I've played with Altecs, and still do, but those smaller drivers are more high frequency limited than 802 or 902 versions. As to Ewave, it is FAR superior to the 807 in terms of high frequency extension. It also only costs 44 bucks or so for the driver, less than a diapragm replacement for Altec. Russellc.

The Nineteen cabinet was larger than previous similar models and made deeper bass. The site also has a great deal of Altec crossover information including Model Nineteen crossover info.

2012年9月6日 · 807 is an 806 with a Symbiotic diaphragm which has higher power handling than the normal aluminum. The 808 is an 802 with a Symbiotic. The 802 came before the 806 and has a bigger magnet and higher sensitivity. The 806 didn't replace the 802 and was made alongside the 802 for a long time.
