2017年11月11日 · These Altec speakers sat in my shed for the last 10-15 years. I took them out last weekend and refinished the cabinets. The grill cloth came in today, so I finished them. They are not that red, something about the lighting and my phone camera did that. Sitting along side my JBL L100 and JBL C50 Olympus speakers.

2017年11月10日 · Here is what is inside the cabinets: Altec 420Y Biflex woofer and Klipsch K77 tweeter. The Altex is original. I added the Klipsch tweeter to extend the frequency range and liven up the sound.

2008年1月6日 · Hi People, I am making some changes to my altec 870B system, added tweeter piezo electric Motorola KSN 1005, with a resistor of 8 ohms/5watts and a capacitor 2MF/250v in the piezo. The system is currently composed of:
