I then ran malawarebytes and superantispyware-- did not show on either of these...I ran the kapersky tdsskiller program which said that Alureon was present and then removed it.

I did everything under the sun and I "think" I was able to remove it. Ran Malwarebytes, Spyhunter4, and numerous other. Is the above entry still part of the virus? I'm unable to delete it manually.

2012年6月3日 · i didnt find traces of alueron but websites are still redirecting so i know its there. i checked the hosts file and nothing is there. AVAST isnt finding it and the ms safety scanner isnt either. right

2016年8月22日 · Alureon virus alert OX8024402c Got warning so did a McAfee complete scan then used Windows Sofware Removal tool. It took almost 10 hous and returned "Trojan Dropper A, E, C &D Rotbot removed" but showed Dos Alureon 'not affected' so I don't know where I stand or what to do next.
