Amateria is the source of many crystals with special properties. Each crystal in its natural state generates a harmonic that excites the native water molecules, causing them to bond and form a shield of ice.

Amateria contains some of Atrus's most ingenious mechanical inventions. You'll have to set each machine correctly in order to access the center building, the gateway to the symbol you need. Note: For directional purposes, let's assume the sun is setting in the west.

Amateria is basically one giant broken roller coaster that spans the entire island and it is your job to fix it. Naturally this will involve some of the most devious puzzles in the game so far. There are four major sections of the island and each has its own unique puzzle and solution.

Three of these Ages are Amateria, a mechanical Age in the middle of a vast sea; Edanna, a world of preserved nature, with abundant plant and animal life; and Voltaic, a dusty island riddled with contraption-filled canyons.
