I've never seen what you described, a baler driven by a ground wheel but balers driven by engines are very common with the Amish in PA. They can own a tractor (on steel) but they can't pull equipment with it.

2021年5月24日 · The baler is around 15-20 years old id say and was top notch equipment back then. The rake looks very new but that type of rake has been around for many decades. The mower is a scissor-type (or whatever you call that).

Saw a similar setup on a square baler the other day near here. Motor cart had only two wheels, but both cart and baler were on steel. Musta been a real project to keep a team of four horses on windrow!
