2014年12月20日 · I agree with you. My ecg was fine 6 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago I stopped my 5mg amlodopine as i felt unwell all the time. First few days were ok. Side affects were disappearing, never had swollen feet or ankles though. Then, wham, bp got higher and higher. At the docs one tablet under the tongue didn’t reduce it as it went up.

2010年12月6日 · The side effects of the amlo really got to me today - it has become so difficult to get on with normal daily tasks I had a bit of a breakdown just emotional and crying. This medication is poison - I stopped taking it 6 months ago and gradually came back to normal but high BP reading meant I was put onto 10mg a day.

2015年5月5日 · I have a relative who does quite well on Amlodipine. Everyone is different. How does your doctor know about your side effects by saying "Can't be the Amlodipine" . Of course, it can!!!!! Anything I've educated myself on, says that doubling the dose isn't the answer. Doubling simply increases the chances of side effects being worse.

How long have you stopped taking thr amlodipine. Don't forget that the Lisinopril could also have it's adverse side effects. This could be the reason that you still continue having problems. Maybe you should cease taking the statines for a few months and see what changes this will bring. But please consult your doctor first. Keep on experimenting.

2014年6月13日 · I started taking 5,000mg of Vitamin C and 1,000iu of Vitamin E every day and the cough was gone in 3 days and has never returned. It has been over 15 years now, and I continue to take the Vitamins. They are both available at Costco (Price Club) and are very cheap. Now I take Benicar 20mg and Amlodipine 2.5mg and still no sinus problems.
