Launched in February 2023, the Indian Railways Amrit Bharat Station Scheme aims to give a facelift to railway stations across the country. The ABSS envisages building modern passenger amenities like an aesthetically designed façade, resurfaced platforms, beautiful landscaping, a roof plaza, kiosks, food courts, and kids' play area among others.
