The AN/SPG-55 is an guidance radar developed for use with the RIM-2 Terrier missile. It replaced the AN/SPQ-5 and was part of the Mk 76 Terrier FCS . This radar was first deployed in 1961, onboard the Long Beach and the Coontz class.
