2023年2月1日 · Okay, you’re right. Corals don’t quack, but Anacropora, sometimes referred to as briar corals, do look a lot like Acropora. Although there are some more well-known Anacropora like the WWC Slimeball, Anacropora corals are a bit unusual to the hobby even though they are considered by some to be an easier-to-keep SPS.

2012年10月8日 · Updates on the anacropora and the deepwater I got at the same store. The anacropora is defiantly growing denser than most of the Jason fox pics I see. Tnyr5 you think it’s the same type of anacropora and it’s just the higher light making it dense? I wonder what sets the different anacropora apart.

2024年10月9日 · The garf is my favorite but got overrun by Montipira digitata, birdsnest, Anacropora and even the Stylo reaching into its space. Learned my lesson about coral placement. Maybe mine are just the easiest Acros, but they seem to like my mixed reef with gulf live rock and AFR dosed all day/night. Flow is a major problem.

2019年8月21日 · Anacropora is good in high flow high light. One thing they dont do is crate a base like anacropora. The single attach point is all the get. I have green goblin that started about the size of yours it's about 12 inches underwater with a hydra 52 directly above it set at 65%blue and 10% white. It has grown into a small colony in about 8 months.

2023年8月15日 · I noticed that the bottom and inner portion has bleached which I’m assuming is due to shadowing. Anything I can do or is it just a fact of life? Since most of the bleaching is in the inner portion, don’t think that supplemental lighting would even help as it’s so far into the interior core of the coral. Thanks.

2024年10月15日 · The other coral are fine, the acropora still not showing polyps but is only 4 days in the tank, the other sps, lps are good extended and full of colour. I have the water top up with RO water with a bottle direct in the tank, I attach picture.
