2015年12月27日 · One thing that is different with analog cab sims vs IR's is that analog cab sims are emulating a finished or produced recording whereas IR's are giving you the basic raw materials to complete the task. If you listen to even a basic mic'd cab that was well recorded with an SM57 in isolation it can sound pretty flat and one dimensional.

2015年12月28日 · All the above and more is easily done via convolution, and quite impossible with a analog filter. EQ matching is certainly better than nothing and quite clever, but very hard to use where as the convolution solution is quite easy to work with, and can mimic most anything not just cab sims (i.e. acoustic bodies, mic preamps, analog filters etc).

2024年9月9日 · Looked up the Manual & no list of amps. I’m a sucker for these mini boxes as they get integrated into a board with some analog pedals. After watching some videos, not sold on the black box. Apparently the noise gate still has issues & a couple of the mods need work. If M-Vave supports / updates the unit, I may jump in.

2020年7月6日 · I think for iOS calling apps one is safest to use the TRRS. I have found an exception; the Zoom F4 has a 2x2 mode that successfully works as an onboard mic on iPhone and iPad. I route the (analog) master out from the L-12 into the F-4, and headphones on the F4. This works to route all the L-12 inputs to the iPad/iPhone.
