Antinous, also called Antinoös, (/ æ n ˈ t ɪ n oʊ ʌ s /; Ancient Greek: Ἀντίνοος; c. 111 – c. 130) [a] was a Greek youth from Bithynia and a favourite and lover of the Roman emperor Hadrian.
