2018年5月24日 · Aorus X5 V6 Fan Replacement / Parts Sourcing So given the nightmare process of RMAs with Gigabyte/AORUS, I am looking to do a repair myself. I have completely disassembled and reassembled several other laptops and this one doesn't look any more complex than any of those.

I had a similar problem with this same motherboard but the matx version like a week ago. Suddenly as well. Had cleared cmos tried different ram, different configurations as well, re seated cpu etc. Somehow the motherboard had killed the dram slots.

OK, so we talked about the positives of the Aorus. What about the positives of the Blade? Much better build quality. The Aorus uses paper-thin metal like MSI does, and I noticed a lot of flex and sponginess on MSI's laptops. In Newegg's video, the Aorus X5 v6 keyboard tray had noticeable flex when the guy was typing on it, which is not a good sign.

2023年12月13日 · I build a computer with the 7800x3d, and in the end, it turned out that the purchased RAM is incompatible with the motherboard (G.skill Flare X5 6000mhz CL30 and Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX rev. 1.2. Is it worth paying an extra $40-50 to have 6000MHz CL30, or should I go for the cheaper option at the same speed with CL36?

2022年12月20日 · Aorus 5 SE4 bios FBOE update Just an update for all the Aorus 5 SE4 users with performance and battery drain issues. I finally updated to bios FBOE after numerous failed attempts and was pleasantly surprised. The performance of CPU and GPU is the best so far , even surpassing bios FBO5 , that too without battery drain.

2020年8月3日 · Update: I used CPU-Z to find out what ram my Aorus X5 came with and it was a 2400 Gskill kit which was made by Samsung. I bought the identical ram model but in a 16GB kit. Gskill Ripjaws F4-2400C16D-16GRS Ram worked perfectly straight out of the box, system/CPU-Z showed the extra ram, no issues.
