Apao Rolling Hills is another obscure spot that you can see in Tineg, Abra. From the viewpoint across the high valley, enjoy a picturesque panorama of dry grassland topped mountains. It is most scenic during sunset when the mountainsides come alive with a spectacular auburn glow.

For hiking enthusiasts, the Apao Rolling Hills provides some of the best hiking opportunities in the country. Trails through them lead you to nearby settlements. For a Day Hike, you could make your way from Vira to Barangay Apao and back. The hike passes through Apao Rolling Hills down to a river and on to Brgy Apao.
