The trigger, ergonomics, machining quality, weight, and ease of disassembly on the APC9 are better, but after shooting my friend's MP5 clone suppressed the softer recoil, minimal noise, and look convinced me to get a different range toy. For reliability, go with the APC9

Feb 1, 2024 · I heard that the APC9 and SPC9 perform similarly with the size being pretty much the only practical difference. The SPC9 comes with a telescoping brace while the APC9 with a telescoping brace would cost another $600 at least. I noticed that the SPC9 handguard is significantly longer than the APC9 handguard despite having the same barrel length.

(I had asked about the AR9 trigger but the response was more general.) he said he would pass along a request for an apc9 pro compatible trigger to the powers that be…. would be curious to learn what others have done.

Its a great option unless you go MP5 and I would still recommend the SQD RBS for the MP5 as well. Theres also the integrally suppressed route you could go as well. My MPX and APC9 are both SD's now and it is my preferred configuration for 9mm pcc. B&T also has the new APC9/MP5 SD suppressors that are now RBS.

I'm trying to decide right now between a new black MPX Copperhead (threaded barrel, shorter than copperhead K model) or the APC9 Pro. I could buy one or both. Unfired, so I can't test them myself.
