Gene is the tertiary antagonist in Minecraft Diaries: The Rise of Phoenix Drop and an antagonist in Minecraft Diaries: The Realm Protector. He is Dante 's older brother and was the head guard of the village of Boboros before becoming a Shadow Knight. He helped orchestrate the murder of the old lord of Phoenix Drop.

Gene is an antagonist and Shadow Knight in Diaries Rebirth. Gene is a Shadow Knight working alongside Sasha and Vylad observing Phoenix Drop after their murder of the former lord. He and the other Shadow Knights are working for Zane, the high priest of O'Khasis.

Gene is the one responsible for altering Sasha's memories, changing the truth of how she passed on. Thus making her power-hungry in the beginning and following Gene's trail of obeying the Shadow Lord.

Gene thought that, after moving to a new street, him and his friends would finally know peace. His past however, seems to follow him as the shadow knights move into the same neighborhood. He doesn't let this get him down, as he resolves to try and be friendly with them. Sadly, life finds a way to make that difficult for him, in more ways than one.

Faced with her debt, Aphmau must repay Gene for his kindness.

Dante is a protagonist in Minecraft Diaries. He is Gene 's younger brother. Dante is a guard in Phoenix Drop along with Garroth and Laurance. He first met Aphmau when he was in the werewolf tribe close to Bright Port and became her guard ever since.
