Dezember 2014 war Ardez eine eigenständige politische Gemeinde. Am 1. Januar 2015 wurde Ardez mit den vier Gemeinden Ftan, Guarda, Sent und Tarasp in die Gemeinde Scuol eingegliedert. [1]
