2022年4月21日 · The Spino recieved a "shadow nerf" in ARK: Survival Ascended, lowering its' DPS by making its' bipedal swing speed much slower. It is now massively outshined by the Tyrannosaurus , as it recieved a faster attack speed.

2015年6月12日 · Spinosaurus is a deadly predator that is usually found roaming the rivers and swamp areas of the island. However, it has a fairly small aggro range when compared to other large carnivores; a territorial creature than a truly predatory one.

The spino is very good at traveling, as most aggresive dinos(raptors, carnos, and so on) will become neutral towards you. The spino also has great speed on all 4, is quite slow on 2 legs, and is even faster with the water buff.

Although the Spinosaurus can be found on pretty much all waterbodies or shores across The Island map, they seem to more commonly spawn on a large riverbank on Southern Jungle, located in the lower left portion of the map.

Clear usual spots of other dinos and they will spawn as usual. Whenever you pass by a fishbowl looking area of water, ole spiny spawns there. If he’s not there, kill some fish.
