2017年5月26日 · The hexagonal Art Deco "A-football-C" symbol has been synonymous with Arsenal Football club since the 1930's and still appears today on scarves, badges and mugs in the club shop; but what do we know about the history and design of this stylish Art Deco symbol?

The Arsenal logo history dates all the way back to the late 1800s when the group changed its name from “Dial Square” to Arsenal FC for the first time. Throughout the years, the group has based its visual identity primarily on the crest of a local Borough (Woolwich).

2024年11月2日 · Arsenal FC’s logo is written in a sans-serif font reminiscent of Clearface Gothic Roman. Designers adapted Morris Fuller Benton’s original font, created in 1984, and changed the design of individual characters.

1936-1949: The fifth version of the Arsenal logo. In 1936, Arsenal decided to go in an entirely new direction with its logo design. This design was modern and featured a hexagon shape with two letters, “A” and “C” intersecting. In the center of the letters sat a soccer ball.

2022年5月26日 · The Arsenal badge first seen in the Premier League era had been the club’s logo since 1949, until it was finally replaced by the more modern current crest in 2002.
