Of course, if you watch the movies with an naive ear, you'll realize that nobody ever mentions Arwen or Elrond as 'half-elven'. I think that as far as the movie is concerned, they are full-blooded Elves, and therefore only remarkable as Elves because of their dark hair.

Arwen is not immortal and neither are the rest of the elves. They are subject to death as man is. The reference of "mortal" to men is that when they die and are not bound to anything as the elves are.

2002年4月19日 · Arwen's makeup wasn't THAT loud! She was the Evenstar-calls to mind dark hues, vibrant sunsets, dusky colors. Red dress, Nom? Maybe by Pilgrim's standards. Arwen had just a little tint on her cheeks, minimal eye makeup and rosy lips. I thought she looked pretty pale and natural for the prestigious daughter of a prestigious elf.
