Measure trace bromate and other oxyhalides in drinking water, ground water, wastewater, and other diverse sample matrices with Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ IonPac™ AS19 Capillary, Analytical & Guard Columns. The column is specifically designed and recommended for determination of trace bromate, a toxic byproduct of ozone disinfection.

The IonPac AS19 has nominal efficiency for sulfate using standard operating conditions of at least 7,000 plates/column. The IonPac AS19 Capillary Column (0.4 x 250 mm) is packed with the same material as the equivalent standard bore version (producing the same performance as a 4 mm column), but requires only 1/100th the eluent flow rate.

Its high resolution, high capacity and selectivity allow the determination of bromate in drinking water at the low-μg/L level.

The IonPac® AS19 high-capacity, hydroxide-selective, anion-exchange column is designed for the analysis of oxyhalides and common inorganic anions, including fluoride, chlorite, bromate, chloride, nitrite, chlorate, bromide, nitrate, sulfate, and phosphate in drinking water, groundwater, wastewater, and other diverse sample matrices.

The Dionex IonPac AS19-4μm column is designed for the determination of oxyhalides and the common anions in less than 30 minutes using a hydroxide gradient delivered using an Eluent Generator.
