2009年7月22日 · The partners in block I and the Ministry of Mines, Industry, and Energy of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea have sanctioned the development plan for the Aseng oil field.

Development of the field includes five subsea wells flowing to a floating production, storage, and offloading vessel (FPSO) where the production stream is separated. The oil is stored on the vessel until sold, while the natural gas and water are reinjected back into the reservoir to maintain pressure and maximize oil recoveries.
