The state-of-the-art ISTB12 builds on Polytechnic’s long-standing reputation as a solutions-focused hub for engineering and technology education, research and collaboration.

2023年12月5日 · ISTB12, expected to be open by fall 2025, will have three floors of high-tech labs, classrooms, makerspaces and meeting spaces, and be home to the new School of Manufacturing Systems and Networks in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.

The ISTB12 building, designed by SmithGroup and being constructed by McCarthy Building Companies (McCarthy), is a major expansion of ASU’s growing Polytechnic campus in and moves forward the university’s developing Innovation Research District adjacent to the campus.

Work is on track for the planned opening next year of ASU’s Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building 12, which will set the stage for a major expansion of the university’s Polytechnic campus and provide a dedicated hub for the School of Manufacturing Systems and Networks, part of the Fulton Schools.

The latest new construction milestone is the Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building 12, or ISTB 12. The more than 173,000-square foot complex will house an array of educational and research spaces and facilities, primarily for the School of Manufacturing Systems and Networks, part of the Fulton Schools.
