Does anybody know off hand what the trick was to making the THX audio default to the external speakers instead of the built in speakers? Thanks

2023年11月10日 · THX uses the same generic open-air profile, and isn't as effective as the others in creating an immersive and effective experience. Nahimic has their option, but is usually incorporated into purchases, like Asus SS3 app for their motherboards.

2022年5月10日 · Found out a simple fix for "no sound from THX Spatial" that worked for me. Writing it down here in case someone needs it, or, mainly, I forget again. and in some other cases, "Speakers (THX Spatial - Synapse)" option will not give me any sound, even if checked as a "Default Device" in the "Sound" window's "Playback" list. There's an abundance of threads regarding THX TruStudio and Realtek Audio in here. I have a G74SX, which is shipped with both RealTek and THX TruStudio. THX is an equaliser (?) with 3 pre-defined settings: External speakers, headphones and built-in speakers. You can only have one equaliser at a time. You're forced to choose one of them.
