2024年10月27日 · Sometimes router upgrade is necessary, sometimes it's just the need to get a new toy. @sthornington is okay with the existing RT-AX88U for perhaps few more years. It's still supported by both Asuswrt and Asuswrt-Merlin and can do 500-800Mbps over Wi-Fi to common 2-stream AC/AX client. Upgrading to RT-BE88U won't improve much the user experience.
