The Microchip maXTouch mXT540E-AT mutual capacitance touchscreen controller is designed for touchscreens of up to 8" diagonal or even larger. The highly responsive IC is able to identify up to sixteen touches on the touchscreen and enables shieldless single layer touch sensors as well as gloved operation.
