The 2.0T when tuned are fine motors with plenty of daily power and very good gas effiency. The 3.0T is a beast of a motor with all the power you'd possibly want in a daily, but it comes with much more fuel consumption. Also maintaining a 2.0 will be a little cheaper. I've considered trading my 3.0T for something with a 2.0T before.

Audi has a very competitive 2.0T and 4.0T product, but their v6 sucks (both 2.9 and 3.0). Obviously their 2.0T is the top seller, but the six cylinder market is super important, and Audi is not competitive. 2021年11月11日 · for a commuter, between those choices i'd take the 2.0 as long as it's a 2nd gen q5. the first gen had an older version of the 2.0 that had a well publicized oil consumption issue, which was supposed to be fixed with the facelift in 2012 or 2013, but not really. so if the choice were a pre-2017 2.0 vs 3.0, i'd say take the 3.0

2022年5月16日 · As someone that rebuilds engines for a living, and with experience on VW/Audi 2.0 engines, that quote is a joke. The parts prices are full retail, or higher. The labor is all lumped into one, and is ambiguous (at best) about what will actually need to be done, or will be done.

2021年10月21日 · Hopefully this is from an Audi dealer with the full dieselgate warranty coverage. We have a 2012 golf tdi. Under warranty - 2 dpf replacements, egr issues. Dealer blamed us for too many short trips not burning off the particulates. They finally found some sort of cracked pipe that led to the dpf issues. 40K miles after that, no issues.

2020年4月20日 · Regarding consumption, I would look at the color or the oil, receipts for stage1/2/etc oil consumption fixes at dealer in the past, and if there's oil bottles in the trunk XD Unfortunately its kind of a "monitor how much you burn" per oil change.
