2014年3月20日 · My CEL came on about a week ago and the dealership said they couldn't see me until the 24th! I just went by autozone today and they pulled codes 2187, 2279 and 579. Don't know what 579 is but this thread has explained the other two. My car has been burning a lot of oil lately and Audi will be performing Stage 1 (for the second time) on the 24th.

Through I was not getting a CEL at the time I was getting a noticible loss in power at 2600rpm, with the advice of this forum I have replaced: Plugs, Coils, diverter valve (piston type) and pcv valve. None of those alleviated my symptoms.

2012年4月19日 · -If the breather valve is faulty, full engine vacuum is typically found when removing the oil cap at idle. I am getting this error code, P2279 - Leak in Air Intake System. I've checked & reassembled my air intake 4 times now and I still cannot get this error code to go away. Any recommendations?
