The Steyr AUG (German: Armee-Universal-Gewehr, lit. 'army universal rifle') is an Austrian bullpup assault rifle chambered for the 5.56×45mm NATO intermediate cartridge, designed in the 1960s by Steyr-Daimler-Puch, and now manufactured by Steyr Arms GmbH & Co KG.

2010年9月7日 · You could use flip-up irons with an ACOG just like you would on an AR. The ACOG should be set in a QD mount so you can "remove" the ACOG to use the BUIS. After a bit of impromptu plinking (including The Giant Ginger nailing a rock at 200 yards with his SBR UMP45....color me impressed!), we decided to shoot the AUG using the ACOG for groups with various ammo. For accuracy, I shot the AUG from the prone position using a shooting bag to rest the front of the rifle on.

Its also a great close quarters / off hand setup, which the AUG is ideal for (its a MP5 sized rifle.) And for the ACOG + RMR the Corvus rail has the integral ACOG groove, making it the best ACOG + RMR host in the world.

2023年12月8日 · The only two ACOG models I currently own (have owned most of them in the past) are TA11 and TA31. The 11 is larger but has better eye relief. However, this isn't an issue on an AUG, and I prefer the smaller sized 4x on a bullpup.

In game, the AUG is a CT-exclusive assault rifle, and the most expensive assault rifle for CTs at $3500/$3300 (in CS:GO and CS2). It is equipped with a low power scope for medium range engagement. The player can enter the scope by using secondary fire.
