The Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle or Infantry Mobility Vehicle is an Australian-built four-wheel drive armoured vehicle. The Bushmaster was primarily designed by the then government-owned Australian Defence Industries (ADI), and is currently produced by Thales Australia following their acquisition of ADI.

The Bushmaster is built to carry and sustain a nine man infantry section, with room for one more passenger. It is fully air-conditioned and can sustain itself for a period of up to three days. It uses an armoured v-shaped hull to protect its passengers from landmines and other explosive devices.

Bushmaster is a 17-tonne, 4x4 protected vehicle, including a 4+ tonne payload, designed to perform a diverse range of mission profiles. Variants include troop carrier, command, patrol, support, weapons deployment and ambulance.

2025年1月8日 · The vehicle can be armored to provide protection from 5.56 and 7.62 mm armor-piercing rounds using a composite appliqué armor kit. The underbody of the Bushmaster hull has been specially designed using V-hull technology to deflect mine blasts.
