تستخدم التركيبة لعلاج الالتهابات الجلدية التي تسببها المبيضات (الفطريات)، أو الفطريات الجلدية الملتهبة. ما هي موانع استخدام أفوكوم- م؟ يمنع استخدام الدواء دون استشارة الطبيب المختص في الحالات الآتية: فرط الحساسية لإحدى مكونات التركيبة. الإصابة بالجروح، والخدوش الجلدية المفتوحة. الإصابة بالقرح والحروق. تجنب استخدام الدواء على الأغشية المخاطية.

توضع طبقة رقيقة على المناطق المصابة من الجلد مرة أو مرتين يوميًا. ميكونازول نيترات 2% وزن/وزن. ومومنتازون فيوروات 0.1% وزن/وزن.

يستخدم كريم أو مرهم موميتازون الموضعي في الحالات التالية: التخلص من أعراض الأكزيما ؛ بحيث يتم وضع كمية قليلة على المنطقة المصابة دون تغطيتها، مرة إلى مرتين يومياً لمدة أقصاها أسبوعين، وستبدأ الحالة بالتحسن خلال يومين. والجدير بالذكر أن الأكزيما لا يوجد لها علاج أو دواء يخفيها تماماً.
