BetXi Bear mascot (left) was adopted in 1989. The flag bears the coat of arms; ten gold stars, one for each Founder; and the Fraternity name written out. The flag is often used in chapter meetings and for display purposes.

Alpha Xi Delta founders chose the colors double blue and gold along with the pink rose to represent them nationally. In 1974 Alpha Xi Delta adopted Al Fuzzy teddy as their mascot, but later in 1989 adopted betXi bear. The crest of axid is called the Coat of Arms, and can only be worn on an initiated sister.
