The Mack B series is a model line of trucks produced by Mack Trucks between 1953 and 1966. [1] The successor to the 1940-1956 Mack L series, [ 2 ] the B-series was a line of heavy conventional-cab trucks.

The 1956 B 42 x single axle I had picked up in North Dakota a couple of years ago and is very solid.

Produced from 1953 to 1966, Mack manufactured close to 90,000 B-models starting (numerical order, not vintage) with the B-13 and ending with the B-8136. The most widely manufactured models were the B-42 at over 19,000 units and the B-61 at over 47,000 units.
