2013年1月9日 · itb's do sound out this world got mine back yesterday.. was in getting mapped. on std engines they dont work at there best, they need compression to get the most out of them. mines is b18cr cammed with obx itbs 45mm with h22 predlude injectors to get more fuel in, the power comes in quick in vtec though was chuffed to bits with it!

2013年3月6日 · I have information that with ITB's fitted they lost bhp and gained nm. So the conclusion was that it as better with edelbrock manifold. If I remember right the b16 forged engine made 208bhp with edelbrock and with Jenvey ITB's it made 200 bhp only (I believe these were 45mm ones). The CR was like 12:1. Thank you in advance.

2012年8月6日 · My mate has recently swapped a B18C6 into his EK4, torque is greatly improved, more power and I think it feels as revy as a B16, though the B16 is probably the most rev happy out of the range, I am swapping in a B18C from a ITR into my EJ9 which has a B16A2, can't beat the torque and that extra power is always handy I say go for the B18.

2011年11月10日 · Get a B18C4 bottom end, fit the pistons out of your B16 in it with some new rings and bolt up your B16 head, drop a set of B16B/B18C cams in and you have the 'poor mans Type R' conversion. Should see you a nice 180bhp and 130lbft, maybe a smidge more, but could cost less than a set of brand new Spunkpoo cams.
