2004年3月1日 · Originally posted by GSRCRXsi@Mar 1 2004, 12:08 PM yes it will work. your compression will be lower then the b16 though. you will have like 9.8xx:1 compression. so you wont be making as much power as a stock GSR, but i dont think you will loose all that much, you will probably gain some in the long run, just kinda like a 2 steps forward one step back kinda thing. you'll get more torque with ...

2020年3月18日 · now since the deck height is shorter for the B16 then the B18 blocks, its safe to assume that the piston will be comming closer to the head, thereby decreasing the piston to deck height and increasing compression alot as well. but since we are using the shorter b16 rods, that will then decrease the piston to deck height. i dont know the exact ...

2008年5月23日 · I'm looking to build a B18 engine from the block up and I'm looking for some input from experienced performance builders. 2006年11月15日 · Starting out with a full B18B (no, not doing lsvtec)... this is my plan. I'm going to at least have the block hot tanked and surfaces decked, as well as having the cylinders posted. Cheaper alternative to sleeving it and I don't want to deal with the non-cooling issues that block guards can cause.

2008年1月17日 · Second, yes, you can swap the B18 head onto the B20 block. This is called a "CR/VTEC" or a "B20/VTEC". It's the same idea as the LS/VTEC, take a VTEC head and put it onto a larger displacement block.
B16 turning to B18 - HondaSwap.com
2007年3月10日 · because a B16B is a p72 casting just like the B18C* it has the same deck height as all the b18 blocks. the B16A has a shorter deck height. youd need custom rods/pistons/both to stroke B16A out with a B18 crank. and its been done. Tech43 has a kit to put LS internals in the B16A block, and it uses custom pistons with raised wrinst pins.

2008年5月15日 · Specify what version of the B18 you're talking about here. All of the B20s are non-VTEC from the factory, so you'd have to swap a VTEC head onto the block in order to have 2-liter VTEC engine. The B18 however, is available in both VTEC (B18C) and …
