The single pin sensor is the sensor for the coolant temp in your gauge cluster, whereas the two pin sensor is used by the ecu to read engine coolant temp, and dictate air/fuel ratio.

2010年3月12日 · Since you have the engine (not installed), you should just build it. Do a simple piston/rod setup, new main/rod bearing, arp rod bolts, new oil/water pump (99+ b20 oil pump is the same part # as the itr pump). Buy ARP head studs, new headgasket (B20), and you will have to switch the dowel pins on the head or the vtec will NOT activate.

2005年11月12日 · Accordingly, putting a b20/z in there would be a waste of money/time/effort also. It's specs are close to the b20a, but the b20a is alot cheaper to work with. That is why there is alot more h22+3rd gen support, it's the only swap that makes sense.

2010年7月25日 · All Vtec B series motor have this stock and are balanced better than non vtec motors. You can use the b20 water pump and timing belt or a gsr water pump and timing belt. The gsr being the better choice but not necessary. The B20's low end torque with a high flowing high reving vtec head is a killer setup.

2005年12月12日 · Cams and valvetrain DO limit your revs, but your bottom end typically needs to be beefed up in a B20/VTEC setup first before you can hit revs high enough to worry about your valvetrain. If your B20's rods and pistons are aftermarket forged pieces and everything was put together properly, I don't see why you couldn't take the engine to 8000rpm.

2014年4月5日 · ls/b20/b16 share rod design, and those are what will bolt up easily to the stock (or stock same shape) replacements. so, if you can get an 84mm bore "p30" style piston, you'll fit the rod. you'll lose about .4CR without the vtec head to what the advertised compression is.

And yes, I've rode in a B20/VTEC car(EG coupe), but he shifted at ~8300rpm. I don't know what else was done to the car besides the obvious bolt-ons.
