CSX BQ23-7 #3008 was photographed here by Wade Massie at Russell, Kentucky on August 8, 1991. Built for Seaboard Coast Line the "Q" designated "Quarters" and the model was identical to the B23-7 save for the larger cab.

It later became SBD 5110 in January 1983 and later became CSX 3110, Class B23-7, in April 1986. It was sold as Raritan Central Ry 3110 in 2002 and sold to Larry's Truck Equipment in April 2013.

2020年4月1日 · The B23-7 was 2-feet 4-inches longer than the U23B, at 62-feet 6-inches. It was powered by a GE FDL-12 diesel, which could develop 2,250 horsepower and if geared to an 82:20 ratio could develop 70 miles per hour. In freight train service, the B23-7 ran at a considerably lower speed.
