The B-46 was a high-yield Thermonuclear Device designed to be deployed from Long Range, High-Altitude Bomber Planes. The B-46 weighed over 8,000-pounds and was 18-feet in length with a 37-inch diameter. The Device could produce a yield of 9-Megatons upon detonation. 50 such Devices were manufactured between 1958 to 1959.
