2016年4月13日 · My B5 is one of the tightest stocks on the tube I've ever had. The SL is only a tiny bit looser on the tube, not enough to sway my decision. Buttpad/whatever you call it is honestly same-same only different with maybe the tiniest edge going to Magpul for grippiness and a tiny edge to B5 for comfort I suppose.

2013年8月30日 · At a local gun store I found a B5 Systems SOPMOD for $60. About the same price as the MOE stock. Considering the price is roughly the same, which would you all prefer? B5 SOPMOD or the MOE? I like the A1 stock a lot aside from the length. Does the SOPMOD lock up tighter like the A1 stock?

2022年3月6日 · B5 SOPMOD is literally just an LMT but not as expensive. I like the B5 SOPMOD most, followed by the Magpul SL-S. I know the B5 is the bulkiest, but I also believe it gives the best cheek well. I haven't tried many stocks beyond these two and mil spec stocks, so I can't give opinions beyond that.

2023年4月30日 · Which do you prefer or is better? Both are similar, however the Magpul doesn't have the holes in the cheek rest, right? TIA. SL is my fav stock. Lock up is solid and doesn't depend on what buffer tube you're using. I've had both. Both are really good. I like the cheek weld on the B5 more. That will depend on your face tho.

I have the B5 on my CQB/GBR build because it's slim, faster to shoulder, and adjusts faster. But I also have the SL on my Recee/mid range build because the stock is wider and has a bigger bench for a solid cheek-to-stock weld.

The (good) bottom line: The B5 handguard is the lightest and slimmest handguard by a healthy margin - it's almost 40% lighter than the Magpul handguards. While the difference is mere ounces, "ounces make pounds", especially when they're way out at the front of the gun.

2015年1月12日 · All the B5 stocks I have fit the buffer tube tight, not all of my Magpuls do, especially the cheaper MOE's. I have both B5 stocks and a CTR. I prefer the B5's and all three lock up tight. My enhanced stock is almost too tight and requires some force to move.

2022年7月21日 · I run B5 type 23 because the fit and feel is best for my hand and target acquisition is instant when I shoulder gun. Try to put your hands on all of them and see what works for your ergonomics and make the choice based off that.
