Ichiro Kitajima flying his Nakajima B5N2 torpedo bomber AII-3II. In all 40 B5N1 Kates and 49 B5N2 Kates took part in the initial raid with 54 more B5N2s arriving in the second wave along with 26 Aichi D3A Val dive bombers.

2018年10月1日 · Back to the kit, it has everything needed, including all the external ordnance that a Kate could carry, including supports for each of them. BUT Airfix forgot a tiny detail: a second 550pd bomb is needed for the scheme that the kit provides, EI-311. The Shokaku Kates that attacked Kaneohe NAS carried two, not one 500pd Bomb.
