With versions produced until 1979, the 707 is a swept wing quadjet with podded engines. Its larger fuselage cross-section allowed six-abreast economy seating, retained in the later 720, 727, 737, and 757 models.

This 707 first flew with the Saudi Arabian Royal Flight from June 1977 as HZ-ACK, later HZ-HM3. After a couple of years in storage at Bucharest Băneasa (BBU) the plane was converted to an aerial tanker and started flying with Omega Air from around July 2009. 1991年10月29日 · While cruising at an altitude of 5,000 feet along the coast, the aircraft lost height and plunged in the sea. The wreckage was found about one km off Woodside Beach and all five occupants were killed. At the time of the accident, weather conditions were good. W/O Al Gwynne, loadmaster.
