How does this compare to the A350-900/1000 and the B787-8/9? I'm really interested in knowing the differences between the B77W and A350-900/1000.

2019年5月1日 · AA and UA seems happy with their B77W United is happy with their 77Ws but lets not forget the 77W wasn't UA first choice the A359 then A35J was. If UA's 744s could have made till 2018 which was part of the original plan then UA wouldn't have any 77Ws in our fleet.

2019年3月1日 · The B77W were initially a stop gap due to 787 delays but now have a place in the fleet in their own right. A few more 77Ws are on order to replace/upgauge the 3 777-200s. The 777-9 is the 86J 747 replacement (well, they've ordered 18, to replace 14 high J 747s and 4 77Es, despite there being 18 high J 747s, all a little confusing).

2013年3月6日 · The 77L is on the NRT route for a combination of reasons... 1) Rotations. It swaps out at LAX with the SYD and ATL flights offering better utilization and backup in the event of a mechanical on one of the intl segments.

2007年5月15日 · The 77L and 77W are physically different than their precesessors, unlike the 762 and 763. They're about 14 feet wider, if I'm not mistaken, so classifying them differently could be valuable to ground controllers as well as the company employees on the ground.
