BA-10 armoured cars first saw combat against Japanese forces during the short-lived border conflict in northeastern China. Despite its weight the BA-10 armoured car was a robust and reliable vehicle and, despite the limitations of its 6x4 drive, served the Red Army well until the German invasion of 1941.

The BA-10A and BA-10M vehicles were the most produced models in the Soviet's BA series of heavy armored cars, with about 3,377 built from 1938-1941. Besides being in service with the Soviets, captured vehicles were used by the Finnish Army (designated Ps25, 26 & 27) and German forces as well.

2012年7月18日 · The BA-10's main armament was a 45 mm 20K mod. 1934 cannon and a coaxial 7,62 mm DT machine gun, both mounted in a cylindrical mantlet of a two-man turret. The cannon was used to combat enemy armored vehicles: tanks, self-propelled guns, and armored cars. Its armor penetration was more than sufficient for the 1930s.
