These are the rules for the Build a City Challenge. The parts in blue are rules that were added by members of forums.boolprop.com who play this challenge and wanted to update it for all of the expansion packs.

I decided to move my modified Sims 2 BACC rules here from my old Livejournal to make it more convenient. During my Sims livestreams I’ve been asked to link to my rule set and having everything here on Tumblr makes more sense now.

Original BACC Rules : These are the original rules with some modifications and updates. The creator of the challenge named these as the "official" rules. Alternate Rule Set by nepheris : These rules are much more story driven and add an aspect of a tight-knit community. There is also a community for it: buildacity

Any Sim who thinks they’ve got what it takes can apply for military duty. Requirements: When Downtown is unlocked, add a separate Subhood and build a Military Base (no additional town funds required as the Military is funding the base). Military Base Rules: Only 1 General, 2 Astronauts, 2 Commanders, 2 Senior Officers permitted at any one time.

2023年12月26日 · Starting Out -You must create an entirely new Neighborhood to start with. It can be on any template you choose, but you MAY NOT add a University, Downtown, Shopping District, or any community lots. However, if you have Bon Voyage, you MAY add vacation destinations. -Create a single Sim to be your founder and move them onto an empty lot.

Some rules concerning expansion: 1) Any Sim you directly create in CAS, from your founder onward, can only move in/marry townies or Sims that were born in the game, not other Sims that you directly create in CAS.

2014年9月3日 · You do NOT have to download them and should be able to just preview them through Box. You could even print them if you wanted to kill a baby tree with all that paper. But if, for whatever reason, you want to download them, I won’t stop you. Maybe you have a BaCC rules collection hidden away on your hard drive. I won’t judge.
