Big Brother 11 is the eleventh season of the American reality television series Big Brother. It is based upon the Netherlands series of the same name, which gained notoriety in 1999 and 2000. The series premiered on CBS on July 9, 2009, and lasted ten weeks until the live finale on September 15, 2009.

Big Brother 11 is the 11th season of the broadcasted edition of Big Brother (U.S.). Cliques: The 12 new Houseguests were shortly split into four common high school cliques of three; Athletes, Populars, Brains, and Off-Beats. Should a member of their clique win Head of Household, they would be immune from eviction that week.

Julie announced that cliques will rule the game, as each of the houseguests will be playing the game as part of a familiar high school clique.
