2024年5月6日 · The BBB dysfunction and white matter lesions (WMLs) are two primary pathological changes as a result of chronic cerebral hypoperfusion (CCH) in VD. The BBB impairment is the key factor linking CCH to WMLs in VD. In VD, BBB impairment is more severe in areas near the WMLs than in areas of apparently normal white matter.
