The amount will depend on the agreements your bank has with the Spanish bank in which you're withdrawing the money from ---ATMs tend to physically be in bank branches.

2025年3月16日 · Our bank charges a 1% fee for atm usage abroad. Some ATMs we have encountered ( one associated with BBVA) also tacked on a $7 fee for withdrawal. We have been using a credit card with no foreign transaction fee for most purchases but like cash for small items.

2015年3月3日 · The only ATMs I was able to locate in Barajas were stand alone machines, not the wall mounted, bank operated types like in Gatwick and Heathrow. The machine held onto my card for more time than was comfortable, without any action. I thought my card would not be returned, and then finally the machine spit it out, but without any money.

2020年1月8日 · The only Spanish bank machine that took a service fee for itself, as opposed to the customer's own, was from Caixa about five years ago. The policy may have been changed; a Caixa branch in Paris charged no fee a year ago. FYI, both BBVA and Santander are major international operations if that makes you feel more secure.

2025年2月1日 · If you bought the airfare separately, I expect the bank is not going to consider this related to the tour company going out of business. The airline is still in business, even though you don’t want to go there because what you’re going for is gone. However, for chargebacks, etc. the fact you no longer want to go is not relevant.

2013年3月5日 · Its not usual for hotels to ask to see it in advance, but for apartment rentals. Hotels most often have your credit card info on file( in case you cancel last minute so they can cover first night) but aparmtments and b@bs have no resourse at all, maybe they figure at least with your pp info you are less likely to just not show up.

2024年1月4日 · I am renewing my US passport soon so I'll be getting a new number. I don't remember if I used my passport as photo ID when I enrolled in TSA Pre-Check (several years ago), but it occurs to me that if I did, my passport number might be linked to it.
