2022年2月11日 · The BC183 Sunface is smoother and less bright/cutting compared to the BC108 Sunface, I have and use both of them. I like the BC183 a lot, but ultimately prefer the more aggressive BC108 for my needs…it really nails the Pompeii/DSOTM/Obscured By Clouds era Floyd/Gilmour stuff so well.

2010年12月10日 · I was wondering if there are any trimpots under your boards in your Vintage Fuzzfaces(BC108). The Dunlop JH-F1 fuzzface is supposed to be an exact replica of the Bc108 Fuzzface's that Hendrix was using, which has 2 mini trimpots under the boards and I wondering if this the same. Your not supposed to mess with the trimpots but I couldn't resist.

2023年3月16日 · - Celesetion 8-15: Good balance of frequencies. Not as many lows as Vox BC108 speaker, but much tighter bass and clarity. Much better sound than Jensen Mod. Less vibrant than Fat Jimmy. But it pairs very well with Jupiter 8SC. The resulting sound of this pairing is a little to the optimistic (chimey) side of things which I like a lot.

2010年4月1日 · The JH-F1 is a true fuzz face RI is really nicely made. I also like the Fulltone 70s pedal. I do think the BC108 is nicely made and sounds good too but if you are after an authentic FF you should go with the other options. BYOC was suggested above but IMO those kits are overpriced. $100 and you still have to do the labor!

2012年5月16日 · Just read the description for the mxr and it says it has the Same guts as their bc108 fuzz face but in a smaller box and with a buffer. Pretty sure they are referring to the JH model but can't say it due to legal issues, and it's the same color so. . . Am I correct?

When I run it through my AD30 in my closet and Fender Super Champ XD in my room, I pick up loud and obnoxious radio or television sounds in the background noise of my amp. All of my other fuzzes (none of which are Silicon)...

So I'm trying to pick the perfect silicon fuzz for my Gilmour tones. Right now I have an Analogman Sun Face BC109 and while it has a beautiful sound, to my ears it just misses the tone in my head I'm trying to nail - the big Echoes solo from Live at Pompeii.
