2018年7月11日 · BCM has a high standard in regards to making a no BS rifle. It is a "mil-spec" AR-15 at the bare minimum, but in today's world of overseas components and sloppy construction, that's worth its weight in gold.

Add a Geissele or LaRue trigger, a generic lower parts kit, and the stock buffer and buffer spring of your choice. If you buy stuff on sale will end up costing about what a BCM rifle will cost, but spec'd with parts of your choice.

2013年1月30日 · BCM won't disclose who makes any of their components. Like Stickman says, if the rifle is mil-spec and on par (or better) than some of the industry standards like Colt, LMT, etc., who cares where they get their parts from.

2016年5月18日 · I think any BCM built rifle is a very solid product. They do not seem to build any 'cheap' rifles. Knight's, their solid too. If I take a SR-15 E3 Mod 2, sit it next to the BCM Jack Carbine, the 2 real differences I see are the barrel and quick disconnect coupler. The look, the Jack has it beat hands down. But, looks do nothing for performance.

2021年12月9日 · Been thinking about just getting a BCM complete lower and BCM complete 14.5" p/w upper for a basic carbine setup, possibly home defense and carbine classes so I don't continue beating the snot out of my older Colts. As always, reliability and durability is the overriding factor in the decision.

2024年12月30日 · I’ve decided to do a 14.5” p&w to get it to 16”. My goal is to make this a general purpose rifle that will eventually be suppressed. General purpose mainly because it will be my only AR platform rifle, in the future once I have more experience (and money lol) I will start doing more specific builds.
