The proficiency awards were introduced for both the League of German Girls and the Jungmaedel on April 28, 1934. The JM achievement badge was introduced at a later date and in his 1940 book 'Das kommende Deutschland' Günter Kaufmann gives that date as 1940 but this information conflicts with earlier sources.

The Bund Deutscher Mädel (BDM) or League of German Girls was founded in the 1930s and served as the female equivalent to the Hitler Youth. Following Hitler’s accession to power in 1933, membership in the BDM became mandatory for girls ages 14 to 21. The Silver Clasp was awarded to the older members of the BDM.

2024年3月5日 · If the bag originally contained a bronze BDM with award serial 96332 it would have been awarded in late-1941/1942 acording to my lists. If the badge looks otherwise good in your hand then the only logical conclusion for me is that it is indeed a bronze BDM achievement badge that has been silvered for profit.
